A Dedication To Fairfield County

The Strength of Our Legacy and Depth of Our Commitment

First County Advisors, the Wealth Management Division of First County Bank, is grounded in the legacy and institutional security of First County Bank, established in 1851 — a mutual community bank wholly driven by the financial objectives of our clients, not shareholders or Wall Street, and committed to its independence in perpetuity. We enlist leaders in the community to serve on our Board of Directors and to act as Members of the Corporation. Our Directors and Corporators reside and do business in our community; they are friends, neighbors, and colleagues.

First County Advisors is dedicated to meeting the growing need for trusted, accessible financial planning and investment management resources in lower Fairfield County and beyond. We provide individuals, families, business owners and nonprofit organizations with expert guidance according to their objectives. Together, our experienced Advisors understand how to navigate the financial implications of life’s milestones.

A Team You Can Trust

Our Team

Recognizing that trust must be earned, we believe in thoughtful collaboration spending considerable time uncovering all aspects of your financial health and personal goals, and accounting for circumstances and needs that may change over time.

AnnaMarie S. Boccuzzi

Vice President, Estate and Trust Officer

AnnaMarie derives great satisfaction in providing her clients with financial clarity and confidence, and helping them make sense of complex and often challenging circumstances.

As an Estate and Trust Officer, AnnaMarie is responsible for delivering estate planning, and trust and estate administration to First County Advisors’ clients. With broad experience, she judiciously manages revocable and irrevocable trusts, rollover IRAs and investment management accounts for individuals and families.

CHARACTER

“Do what’s right for the customer and the rest will follow,” AnnaMarie asserts. “It surprises me when I hear that simple courtesy is considered unique. I don’t think what I do is special—I think it’s just good client service— but people see that I’m deeply involved, responsive and sincere.”

“AnnaMarie’s greatest attribute is her character,” says one grateful client. “She is an individual of the highest integrity, who treats clients with the utmost respect and attention,” says another. “She was very aware of my personal needs and helped me achieve them. The service was not a ‘one-size-fits-all’ experience, but very individualized.”

DEDICATION

Dedication, discretion and sensitivity are fundamental to AnnaMarie’s approach. Whether collaborating with new or long-time clients, she invests the time to consider all factors when developing the right structure to meet current and long-term family, business and philanthropic objectives, and to minimize tax consequences.

AnnaMarie is at home with First County Bank’s values and team culture. “I feel lucky to work at the kind of place that advocates focusing on the real needs of individuals and families,” she says. She is also a committed team player in the community, volunteering to help the Friends of Ferguson Library (Stamford) as a member of the advisory board, and actively supports her children’s volunteer work with Kids Helping Kids.

Since earning an undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Connecticut, AnnaMarie has furthered her education at the New England School of Banking Trust Program at Williams College and the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University. She lives in Stamford with her husband and two children.

“Every person, every family you’re helping has a unique set of circumstances, and it’s our job to find out how to add value,” says AnnaMarie. “It’s about listening well and putting their needs ahead of anything else.”

Sandra Greer

“I have a lot of empathy for my clients, based on both my personal and professional experiences,” Sandy explains. “I make myself available to find out what my clients are going through—difficult times and celebrations— so we can help them achieve their very real personal goals.” It’s about balancing the “qualitative” aspect of a friend with the rigorous quantitative analysis needed in finance.

Clients appreciate Sandy’s ability to reflect their values in her suggestions and expertise. As one appreciative client observed, “You’ve covered difficult ground with quiet assurance. We feel most confident in your care.”

EXPERIENCE

Sandy’s personal approach is evident whether she’s providing trust and investment advice and fiduciary support to individuals, families, endowments, foundations or charitable and nonprofit organizations.

With over 30 years of experience in both personal and institutional investment management, she helps her clients reach their financial goals and manages equity, fixed income and alternative investment portfolios using a comprehensive wealth management approach. Ongoing consultation with her expert external advisors further strengthens her unbiased recommendations and strategies.

AUTHENTICITY

“Clients are not interested in being sold; they’re looking for help from real people,” Sandy says. “At First County Advisors, we understand how to conduct ourselves as caring professionals,” a characteristic that is anchored in First County Bank’s long history of service to its communities. “Who I am professionally and personally is the same.”

As evidence, she was honored with a BRAVA Award from the YWCA Greenwich, which recognizes outstanding women achievers and community mentors. She is dedicated to volunteering with numerous local organizations focused on quality of life across all generations.

Sandy earned both undergraduate and graduate degrees from SUNY at Buffalo. She and her husband live in Norwalk and are the parents of four grown children.
