First County Bank (Stamford Savings Bank) first opened it's doors for business 150 years ago in Stamford, CT as a mutual savings bank. In 1989, we changed our name to First County Bank to reflect the Bank's expansion into new markets.  Today, First County Bank has branches in Stamford, Greenwich, Darien, New Canaan, Norwalk and Westport.

In 1851, the Bank's mission was to safeguard and invest the money of its local residents, today our goal remains the same.  First County Bank is an independent community bank which provides personalized, quality service to individuals and local businesses in the lower Fairfield County area.
