We share only what is necessary or customary in order for us to conduct our business and comply with applicable laws. For example, in order to provide products and services to you, we sometimes work with various other companies that help us with tasks such as processing transactions and creating monthly statements. We also make disclosures that are required by law, such as disclosures to law enforcement agencies, court orders and IRS subpoenas. This notice applies to both First County Bank and our wholly owned subsidiary, First County Bank Mortgage Company.

The nonaffiliated financial institutions may include service processors that provide our credit card services. We also have policies in place that are designed to limit access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information about you to complete transactions for you, to offer other financial services of the bank that may be of interest to you, or to complete other work on our behalf. We also maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to protect your nonpublic personal information.

If you decide to close your accounts or become an inactive customer, we will continue to adhere to the privacy policies and practices described in this notice.
