First Time Homebuyers Programs

First County Bank has enhanced its mortgage products portfolio by adding special programs specifically for First Time Homebuyers. These loan programs are designed to help first time homebuyers in Lower Fairfield County purchase their dream homes by offering flexible and affordable solutions.

First Time Homebuyers Programs include:

• FHA Program - Fixed or adjustable-rate loans that are insured by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. Offering downpayments as low as 3.50% to qualified borrowers.
• Jumbo First Time Homebuyers Program - Fixed or adjustable-rate mortgages suitable for first time homebuyers who would like to borrow amounts over $417,000 up to $1,000,000 for a larger home purchase.
• First County Bank/Housing Development Fund Partnership Program - A special program developed by the Housing Development Fund (HDF), in which the first time homebuyer has a minimum contribution of one percent (1.00%) of the property price. Special requirements and guidelines apply.
