COVID-19 CEO Message
A Message from our CEO
At First County Bank, we're thinking of you and your loved ones during this challenging time.
For so many of us, the COVID-19 surge has left a wake of uncertainties and questions. While much still remains unknown, I wanted to reach out and tell you what we do know.
We know the power of strength, community, and resiliency.
Since our founding in 1851, we, along with our communities, have weathered some of the most challenging times in history. During the 2008 financial crisis and subsequent great recession, First County Bank served as a source of strength to the community by assisting our customers during those challenging times. Today, in a period of unprecedented challenges and disruptions to our daily lives, I am proud to say that First County Bank is not just standing strong for you - but with you.
We remain a financially sound community bank with robust capital reserves and ample liquidity. Our institution was built on a solid foundation of financial strength, performance - and trust. Our team has made the necessary preparations to ensure the safety and accessibility of your money. We are here to understand the current challenges you are facing and create personal solutions to solve them. If you find yourself dealing with financial difficulties during this time, we encourage you to reach out and learn how we may be able to help. Our CustomerFirst Contact Center is available by phone at 203-462-4400, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m..
Although some of the ways we serve you may have changed over the past few days, our commitment to being here for you - and doing right by you - will never change.
At First County Bank, it's where you belong, and together we stand strong.
Robert J. Granata,
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
